Year 10 College Visits
Attending Open Events and college visits are essential to supporting post-16 choices. Visiting a college could inspire you and change your future plans or support the plans you already have.
In the Spring term, Year 10 students are invited to sign up for visits to our local colleges. We strongly encourage all students to attend two Open Events and at least one college visit as this will give them a real feel for the college and find out more about the courses and extra-curricular offer.
As always, it is crucial that students adhere to any deadlines so they don’t miss out on any visits.
College visit dates during the school day will be confirmed nearer the time.
Kirklees College After School Taster Sessions
Would you like to explore post-16 vocational options? With so many options available, deciding what to do can be a difficult decision. To help make the decision easier Kirklees College have put together some fantastic after School Taster Sessions aimed at Students in Years 9-13.
Students can have a go at Games Development, explore their new Fitness taster, meet the course tutors and try a mini taster in classrooms and workshops.
