Pupil Premium Funding

Pupil Premium (PP) is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and to close the gap between them and their peers. Schools receive additional funding for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Students may be entitled to free school meals if their parents are in receipt of certain benefits.

If your child is eligible, it is really important to register for free school meals even if your child doesn’t want to have school dinners. Our school can receive significant extra Pupil Premium funding for each registered student. This supports your child's learning in many ways, such as funding their school trips and revision guides, and extra provision to raise attainment.

To find out if you are eligible for free school meals, please visit the Kirklees website and complete their online application form by clicking on the link below.
