Level Access for Honley Station

We were delighted to host a Penistone Line Partnership meeting with representatives from Kirklees and Holme Valley Parish Council and Northern to discuss campaigning through the correct channels for level access to Honley Station.

Our Student Leaders took part in the discussion to give their perspective on what improvements would be useful for students and the wider community.  They discussed the frequency of the trains and improvements such as lighting, accessibility, and shelters and ticket machines.

We were so proud of how our Student Leaders conducted themselves and gave their opinions in a considered and mature manner.

They were fantastic ambassadors for our school!
