'Languagenut' is an adaptive learning package designed to further build and develop students' understanding and help increase their confidence and enjoyment of Spanish.

What is Languagenut?

Languagenut is an interactive platform that enables students to practice and develop the four key skills of language learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Subject teachers set assignments that are automatically marked to provide students with immediate feedback.

Additionally, students can complete games and activities to unlock achievements and earn daily streaks and awards. 

How to access Languagenut

Students log in using their school user name (remove the @honley.tlt.school from their email) and unique password received via their school email.

If your child has difficulty accessing Languagenut, please ask them to see their subject teacher as soon as possible.

We recommend that students use a PC for the full Languagenut experience; however, they can complete their homework via the Android or Apple app.  

As with other subjects, students receive achievement points for completed homework, and we will communicate with home and students should any deadlines be missed. 

How can you support your child?

We ask parents and carers to reinforce the importance of completing all their homework on time each week. 

Monday is homework day: fortnightly on A week for KS3 students and weekly for Year 10 students.

Homework Club

Computers are available for students after school in the Library every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 3.45pm and Wednesday until 3.25pm.
