Top of the Class: 2025 results round up
At Honley High School, we know that strong exam results open doors to brighter futures, and this year our students have once again risen to the challenge and achieved some amazing results which reflect the incredible effort they have put into their studies. These achievements mean our students are exceptionally well-prepared for the next stage of their journey, whether that be further study, training, or future careers, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Top 20% Nationally
Honley High School continues to excel among the best schools in England
Strong core results
English and Maths beat the national average with almost 80% achieving grade 4+ in each.
(National rates around 60% at grade 4+)
Excelling in the essentials
More than half achieved a strong pass (5+) in English and Maths, and 62% in two or more Science GCSEs.
Better than the rest
Students outperformed the national average in 14 different subjects.
Standout subjects
Exceptional results in Photography, Chemistry and Construction, where students on got a whole grade higher on average than at other schools.
