HONLEY VALUES AWARD NOMINATIONS
Who inspires you?
It’s not long until our annual Awards Evening at the Town Hall and we are excited to launch nominations for our Honley Values Awards.
We are asking our parents, students, and staff to nominate the students you think most deserve to be celebrated for their character and kindness. Our Heads of Year will then choose one very special student from each year group to receive the prestigious Values Award, which will be presented at our Awards Evening on Wednesday, 9 July at the Huddersfield Town Hall.
These special awards, celebrate the students who have really inspired us this year and who really embody one or more of the Honley Values of Collaboration, Respect, Endeavour, Aspiration, Tolerance and Equality. These students might not be the ones achieving the highest grades, but their character and conduct impress us every day. Perhaps this student faces great challenges in terms of their health or personal life, but they endeavour every day to come to school and try their best. Perhaps it is a student who has shown exceptional kindness to others on a particular occasion. We want to celebrate these qualities.
If you know someone who deserves a Values Award, please follow the link below to fill in the nomination form and let us know why.
Last year, we received a very special request to present an award to one of our staff members who had quietly but tirelessly gone above and beyond to support a student in need.
We decided to name this our “Unsung Hero Award”.
If you know of an adult in school who you think deserves extra recognition, we’d love this to become an annual award too! You can follow the same link to tell us all about them.
Don’t forget we’d like this to be a surprise so please don’t tell the person you’re nominating.
We can’t wait to read your nominations!
DEADLINE: 9.00AM WEDNESDAY 3 JUNE 2025
